The Van Wert County Board of Developmental Disabilities is comprised of seven members. Five members are appointed by the Van Wert County Commissioners. The remaining two members are appointed by the Van Wert County Probate Judge. The Superintendent reports directly to the Board, and is responsible for the overall operations and direction of the entire program, including implementing policies adopted by the Board.
