Administrative Resolution of Complaints
The Van Wert County Board of Developmental Disabilities has a policy that establishes the process for the Administrative resolution of complaints involving the programs, services, policies or administrative practices of the Board.
Annually, the Board will provide notification of the availability of the policies and procedures related to the Due Process Rights for individuals, families, guardians and advocates. This notice is part of the planning process and occurs each year.
When the Board receives a complaint, they will provide the person submitting the complaint with specific policies and procedures related to their due process rights. If requested, the Board will provide a representative to assist in this process.
Where circumstances permit, due process rights will be provided at least ten (10) days in advance of any proposed action.
